     Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
1/23 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 Cup Flour
2 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
 

Instructions
Mix butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, salt and baking soda. Make dough into walnut size balls.
Roll balls into red or green sugar crystals (sprinkles). Place on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 3 minutes then take off of cookie sheet.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with hot chocolate on a cold winter night. MMMMMM!
