Preheat oven to 325F. Cream butter. Add sugar and continue
creaming. Add egg and yolks. Beat until light and foamy. Add
vanilla and rind. Sift cornstarch, flour, baking powder together.
Add to butter mixture. Mix well. Add brandy. Knead until smooth.
Set aside for 10 minutes.
Combine milk, sugar, vanilla and baking soda in saucepan. Bring
to boil. Cook over low heat 2-1/2 hours, until mixture forms soft
ball when dropped in cold water. Stir occasionally. Spread
frosting over cookies. Sprinkle with coconut OR make cookie
sandwiches rolling the sides in coconut.
