     Italian Knot Cookies

Ingredients
4 eggs
4 cups flour
1/4 c. plus 2 TB. of milk
1TB vanilla or almond extract
4 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick of butter
sprinkles
 
confectionary sugar

Instructions
Cream butter and sugar until well blended. Meanwhile combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add eggs, milk and extract to the butter and sugar.
Slowly add the flour mixture
Roll into rods and make a 'knot' shape. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 mintues (depending on how big you make them). while hot, dip into confectionary sugar mixture then top with sprinkles.
Serving Suggestions
Confectionary Sugar mixture- 2cups of convectionary sugar to a few TBSP. of hot water
