Saute onion in shortening about 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT SALTS AND
PEPPERS... cook slowly in a covered saucepan about
30 minutes, stirring every few minutes.

Last 5 minutes, add the salt and peppers.
|

This sauce recipe will accommodate 3 lbs of ribs. Boil ribs for a few hours and then bake them with sauce on it. OMG yummy!
