Mix together and boil= Pour over dumplings before baking, makes 6.

Mix flour, shortening,milk, BP and salt.
boil sugar, water, butter cinanmon and nut meg, boil about 1 min just until sugar is disobled
Take your dough and wrap around apple, set your apples in a baking dish with sides, pour syrup over apples then bake at 350 until crust is brown and apples are soft.
