     Brandy-Soaked Scallops and Bacon

Ingredients
1 lb. bacon, cut in half crosswise
2 lb. small sea scallops
1/3 c. olive oil
1/2 c. brandy
2 T. chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion powder
 
Salad greens (op)

Instructions
Wrap one piece bacon around each scallop; secure with toothpick. Place in 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Combine oil, brandy, parsley, pepper, salt and onion powder in small bowl; mix well. Pour over scallops; cover and mainate in frig at least 4 hrs.
Remove scallops from marinade and discard marinade. Arrange on broiler rack. Broil, 4 inches from heat 7 to 10 minutes until bacon is brown. Turn over 1x; cook 5 min or until scallops are opaque.
Arrange over salad greens and garnish if desired.
