Melt butter and chocolate in double broiler. Keep at a very low heat. Remove from heat when smooth. In another pan combine cream, corn syrup, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and boil 1 min. Remove from heat. Pour ¼ c pf the hot cream over chocolate. Stir until smooth then pour in remaining cream in 2 additions. Allow to cool 10 min before using.
