     Oma Vogt Dill Pickles

Ingredients
1 qt water
3 Tblsp salt
4 Tblsp white vinegar
small slices of garlic
2 small hot peppers
 

Instructions
Soak pickles in water 2-4 hours, pack tight in jars with dill. Boil water add seasoning fill jars 1/4 inch from full seal.
To avoid cracking my jars, I set them in hot water before pouring the boiling brine over them.
1 qt brine is enough for 2 qt pickles
