Preheat oven to 325. in a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, coconut, pecans, graham cracker crumbs, egg whites, and vanilla. Stir until blended. Pour mixture into pie shell and bake for about 30-35 minutes. Cool to room temperature.
Arrange banana slices over top of pie, then cover with whipped cream sprinkle with pecans. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
