Preheat oven to 200°. Wash kale and dry thoroughly (needs to be very dry). Tear leaves (discarding hard ribs) into bite size pieces. Mix salt and chili powder into olive oil and drizzle some over kale. Mix into kale with hands. You only want a light coating of oil. Spread thinly on a baking sheet and add additional salt and chili powder if desired. Cook stirring frequently until crispy about 15-20 min. Be careful not to burn! Store uncovered in fridge.
