Ingredients
fresh beef brisket 2lbs
2 tbls oil
cup hot water
1 envelope of onion soup mix
2tbls cornstorch
1/2 cup cold water
 

Instructions
dutch oven, brown brisket in oil on both sides over med. heat, drain, combine hot water & soup mix, pour over brisket. cover bake 325 2-2.5hrs.
combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth, stir in pan juices. bring to boil, cook and stir 2 mminutes, slice meet across the grain & serve with gravy.
if 5lbs of brisket 275 degrees for 6-7 hrs. turned meat over half way
