1 tub of bought frosting ( I use cream cheese frosting)
1 bag (14 oz) candy melts or Almond Bark
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13X9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
In large bowl, combine cakemix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil; beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 min. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 35-40 min until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min. remove from pan and cool completely.
In large bowl, use hands to crumble cake until no large chunks remain. Add icing; mix until well combined. Form mixture into balls (1 inch). Chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
Melt candy coating and dip balls into it. If using lollypop sticks to make cake pops- dip stick into the melted candy and then dip into the cake ball; let set. Wait until candy is completely firm before diping the pops completely in melted candy coating.
Makes 48- 1 1/4 inch diameter balls
Makes 24 1 1/2 inch balls
Makes 16 1 3/4 inch balls
You can freeze the cake or cake mixed with frosting if you do not need to use it all at once.
