     Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
chicken de bone or 4 chicken breasts
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp bay leaf
bunch chopped green onion
 
can diced tomatoes 14oz
1/3 cup flour
1/2 cup white onion
1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms sauteed(optional)
Instructions
heat butter- brown chicken, sprinkle all ingredients except mushrooms, mix well
cover & simmer 45 min add mushrooms last 15 minutes
serve with angel hair pasta
