Cook vegetables in broth until tender. Add flour to thicken. Add
salt, pepper, thyme, basil, vegetables, and chicken. Simmer.
Prepare dumplings. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in
butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk. Drop by
rounded spoonfuls into simmering stew. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes until dumplings are tender.
