combine first two ingredients in large frying pan. Brpwn meat; drain off fat. Put in crockpot.
ADd next 12 ingredients, stir to b lend, cover and simmer on high 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. remove bay leaf, Turn heat down to low. Serve when you are ready to eat. It can be kept on low for several hours, or you can eat right away
