     Banana Bread

  hot coffee or cold milk

2 bananas, very ripe
third cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
tsp. vanilla
1 egg
tsp baking soda
1.5 cup flour
pinch of salt
buttermilk to consistency, about quarter cup

Heat oven to 350 F
With blender, mix first 5 ingredients, then add dry ingredients. Add buttermilk little by little until the batter is not super sticky, but not as thin as cake batter. Stir in walnuts and pour batter into greased 4x8 pan.
Bake one hour at 350 F
If you add more bananas, omit buttermilk.
