Preheat oven 375. Blend pumpkin with cream cheese. Stir in beated egg brown sugar and spices. Pour into shell and bake 25 to 30 min.
Remove from oven and add topping. Increase oven temp to 400. Bake 5 min. Turn off heat and allow cake to cool in the oven with the door open slightly. Chill before serving. Serves 8 to 10
