Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt to a little of the milk. Add egg yolks. Stir gradually into hot milk and bring to a boil. Add butter and vanilla. Cool.
Mix together the powdered sugar and peanut butter with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle 2/3 of the crumbs into a baked pie shell. Then put in the custard. Put whip cream on top and the remainder of the crumbs.
