     Crockpot halibut in creamy wine sauce

Ingredients
16 oz of halibut
2 tb flour
1tb sugar 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup white wine
2/3 cup milk or half and half
 

Instructions
pat halibut steaks dry;place in crockpot. Combine flour, sugar, and salt. In saucepan, melt butter;stir in flour mixture.
When well blended add wine and milk, and cook over medium heqat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Allow sauce to boil 1 minute while stirring. Pour sauce over fish. Cover and cook on high setting for 2 1/2 - 3hrs.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with rice.
