Optional- 1/2 Cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc)
Optional- 1/2 Cup mini choc. chips
Cream butter - sugar together with a wooden
spoon. Mix until well blended.
Add extract - blend in.
Add flour 1 cup at a time. Work with hands into a ball - knead in the bowl for 10 minutes.
Divide dough - place in 2 small square/round cake pans until 1/2inch thickness. I put a small baggy on my hand so it doesn't stick. Prick all over with a fork. Bake 325 for 1 hour or until golden brown. Slice about 15 min after cooling.
