Heat and stir 1/2 c margarine, cocoa and sugar in saucepan until boiling. Reduce to med-low and add egg. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat. Add graham crumbs, coconut and walnuts. Stir well. Press into 9 by 9 pan.
Beat together icing sugar, milk, margarine and peppermint extract. Stir in food colouring. Spread over top crust. Melt chips and margarine and spread over peppermint.
