     Focaccia Style Flax Bread

Ingredients
2 c flax seed meal
1 T baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 to 2 T splenda
5 eggs beaten
1/2 c water
1/3 c oil
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a baking sheet that has sides 10x15 with oiled parchment.
Mix dry ingredients well with a whisk. Add wet to dry and combine well. Make sure the eggs are well beaten before adding. Let the batter set for 2 to 3 min to thicken up. don't leave any longer as you cannot spread it then. Pou batter into pan. Spread away from the center. does not have to go to the edges. Just get it even. Bake for about 20 min until it springs backwhen touched in the middle and is browning a little. 12 servings 185 cal .7 grams of carb
Revised by me March 2010. Used 6 eggs 3 whole and 3 just the white. Used half yellow flax seed meal. Added 1/2 to 3/4 c wheat flakes. Cut oil to 1/4 c This is my new fave. It is not oily and rather light in texture
