2 cans large butter (lima) beans (drained - save juice)
1/4 cup (scant) brown sugar (I prefer dark)
1/2 cup molasses
1 tablespoon dry mustard
juice from cans mixed with 1 or 2 tablespoons corn starch
Instructions
Mix all ingredients and stir well.
Bake at 350 degrees until done - about one hours
I usually let stand overnight before baking so that the beans can absorb flavors. Beans can be baked a little slower at 325 degrees. Adjust baking time.
