     Clam Chowder

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
3 cup diced potatoes
3/4 cup margarine, melted
3/4 cup flour
1 pint (2 cups) half and half
1 pint milk
2 cans clams
1 1/2 tsp salt
 
dash pepper
2 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup grated cheese

Instructions
Cover vegetables with water and clam juice (drained from cans of clams). Cook. Drain.Set aside. Stir margarine, flour, milk and half and half until thick. Pour in vegetables. Add clams. dsly, pepper and vinegar. Top with cheese.
