     Creamy Mushroom and Bacon Pasta

300g spaghetti or fettucine
3 tbsp butter
4 bacon rashers, chopped
3 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
200g button mushrooms, sliced

Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente.
Heat butter in a pan. Add bacon when melted; cook for three minutes. Stir in flour, then gradually stir in milk. Bring to the boil, stirring, then add mushrooms; simmer for 3 minutes.
Drain spaghetti and combine with sauce. Toss well before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Garnish with fresh parsley
