Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Transfer mixture into a pie pan (large enough to lay a piece of bread flat).
Put skillet pan on burner with heat on medium/medium-low.
Once the pan is warm, take a piece of bread and dip both sides in the mixture then lay it in the pan. Repeat to fill the pan.
Cook each side until golden brown.
Serve warm with butter and syrup -)
