Ingredients
1 tsp garlic
2 tsp shallots
butter
2 tsp sambucca
1/4 heavy cream
1 cup marinara sauce
 

Instructions
- saute garlic and shallots in butter - deglaze with the Sambucca (very flammable- remove pan from stove-top when deglazing and keep your face away from pan). -when flame burns off, add cream and reduce until thickened. -add marinara sauce, stir and heat thoroughly.
makes enough for two meals. Save leftover sauce for up to four days; -serve this sauce over pasta
