Melt the butter and mix with the graham wafer crumbs and sugar. Press into square pan (double recipe and use 9 x 13 pan). Chill
Mix the dream whip according to package directions. In another bowl, ship the cream cheese and add icing sugar. Then whip in the dream whip and spread over the crumb base.
Top with a can of cherry pie filling or other fruit.
I usually double the whole recipe to make a very large cheesecake as it's a favourite -)
