First Layer- Mix butter, sugar, cornstarch, flour, and salt together and press into a greased 9/13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 300 degrees. Set aside to cool while you make the next layer.
Second Layer- Mix together the eggs, flour, baking powder, brown sugar, vanilla, pecans, and coconut and spread over the baked first layer. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes; turn heat up to 350 degrees and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Let cool while you prepare the top layer.
Third Layer- Using a beater, mix together cream cheese, margarine or butter, and sugar. Spread on top of the first two baked layers. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees - edges will be lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars approximately 1 inch square.
