|
place egg whites in small bowl
let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
in sauce pan melt chocolate and butter remove and cool sightly
coat a 9 inch spring form pan with cookinhg spray
place pan on baking sheet

in large bowl beat egg yolks on high for 3 minutes
add 1/3 cup sugar slowly and vanilla
beat till lemon colored
beat in baby food and chocolate mixture

|
beat egg whites till soft peaks form
gradually beat inremaining sugar 1 tbs at a time
on high until still glossy peaks form
fold into batter
pour into prepared pan

|
bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes
until toothpick comes out clean with moist crumbs
cool on rack 20 minutes
run a knife around edge of pan to loosen
remove sides of pan cool completely
sprinkle with cocoa and confectioners sugar
refrigerate leftovers
