     CARNE POLACA (POLISH MEAT)

Ingredients
1 lb pork or beef stew meat
1/2 head of cabbage
1 can of Chipotle peppers
1 ketchup
2 tomatoes
1 onion
 

Instructions
First boil the meat. Shred the beef (pull the pork). Shred the cabbage as if making cole slaw. Do the same with the onion. Put the tomatoes, 3 chipotle peppers, & ketchup to taste, in the blender. (Add a little bit of water from the boiled meat to ensure you get all of your ingredients.) Liquify, then cook with enough grease to avoid it sticking for approximately 10 minutes. (Enough time for the sauce to thicken, it will look like spaghetti sauce.) Add the meat, cabbage & onion. Allow to cook slow while covered. When it is finished, the cabbage will be very soft & flexible.
