     Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
1 1/2 sticks melted butter
3 Tbsp sugar
2 c. broken thin pretzels
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
2 containers coolwhip
2--3oz pkg strawberry jello
2 c hot water
2 10 oz pkg strawberries, thawed (set a few aside for garnish)
 

Instructions
Mix melted butter, 3 Tbsp sugar and broken pretzels in small bowl. Spread in bottom of 9X13 pan. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes.
Beat cream cheese and 1/4 c sugar until smooth, then add 1 container of coolwhip and blend. Spread over cooled pretzel bottom.
Mix jello, hot water and strawberries and cool 10-15 minutes. Put on top of cream cheese layer and refrigerate.
Once jello is completely set, cover jello layer with more coolwhip. Garnish with a few reserved strawberries.
