1) Allow half & half and butter to stand at room temp for 30 minutes.
2)Cook fettuccine. Drain then add half & half, butter, and cheese.
3) Stir gently until fettuccine is well coated.
4 Transfer to warm serving dish and sprinkle with pepper.
