     Ganache Biscuit cake

Ingredients
500 g Petit Beurre Biscuits or Marie biscuits
1/4 cup wine
1/2 cup cognac or similar
2 heaped teaspoons of black Turkish coffee or espresso grounds in a third cup boiling water
250 ml cream
250 gr dark chocolate or you can even use milk and dark or just milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon honey or syrup
 

Instructions
break biscuits into smallish pieces of around two or three cm. Pour wine, cognac and coffee over biscuits and mix gently
break or even chop up chocolate into pieces. Heat cream to boiling add butter and honey to cream and mix till incorporated. Pour this over chopped or broken chocolate and mix till smooth. If chocolate has not all melted and there are lumps zap for ten seconds in microwave and mix well. If not melted again zap again for ten seconds till it is all smooth like pudding.
Pour a third or more into biscuits and mix gently. Plonk it all onto a dinner plate and using clean hands shape into a mound or heart. Pour remaining ganache or chocolate cream onto the shaped caked as frosting and decorate. Place in fridge to harden for at least an hour or two.
