     Cinnamon rolls

Ingredients
2 c scalded milk
1 c sugar
2 t salt
4 eggs beaten
3/4 c melted butter
2 T yeast
1/4 c water
6 c flour
 
Filling- 2 T butter melted
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c raisins optional
1/4 c chopped nuts optional
1 1/2 T cinnamon
Frosting- 2 c powdered sugar
1/2 c soft butter
1/4 t vanilla, 1/4 c evaporated milk

Instructions
Disolve yeast in luke warm water. Pour sugar, salt, yeast, eggs and shortening into cooled to warm milk. Beat well. Stir in flour. Let rest for 10 min. The dough will be sticky. Put on a floured board and knead until soft. Roll out to 3/4 inch thick. Add filling, roll and let rise until double.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 min Cool and frost.
