     PEAR PIE 2 Crust

Ingredients
1 1/4 c sugar
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
6 -8 pears thinly sliced
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 c butter or margarine
 

Instructions
Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon & flour in a small mixing bowl. Mix well. Line a 9 inch pie plate with half of pastry. Pour half of sugar mixture evenly over pastry; add pears; sprinkle vanilla over pears; sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over pears. Dot with butter or margarine. Cover with crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes; then finish at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
