     OATMEAL COCOA CHIPPERS

Ingredients
1 1/4 c all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 c Nestle Cocoa
1 12 oz pkg (2 c) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet
2 tsp baking soda
Chocolate Morsels
1/2 tsp salt, optional
2 c Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned)
1 c (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
 
1 c chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar

Instructions
Preheat over to 350. In small bowl, combine flour, Cocoa, baking soda & salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, granulated sugar & vanilla; beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in Toll House Morsels, oats & nuts. Drop by slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes for chewy cookies, 12-13 minutes for crisp cookies. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet; cool completely. Makes 4 dozen cookies. These are really good while still warm. These cookies made the trip to New York even if Lori didn't. -Jean
