Cake-Beat egg yolks and zest and 1/2 the sugar for 5 min. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form then beat in rest of the sugar. Fold in 1/3 of flour. Fold in 1/2 the egg white mixture and reapeat these steps till all incoporated. Take out 1 cup of the mixture and add the lemon juice to it mixing well then fold back ino the original mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 min uing a spring form pan.

Filling- In top of a double boiler ombine lemon juice sugar and butter. Cook until butter melts. Add zest. Gradually add in tthe eggs and return to the top of the double oiler. Cook 10 min until thickened. Don't allow to boil. Cool. Fold in whipped cream. Chill well.

Slice cake in layers and spread mixture etween the layers. Garnish with a sprinkle of icing sugar and some lemon zest.

Barbb says this a very lemony cake. I have not tried it yet. When I do will update the recipe.
