Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cook beef with onion in small skillet until lightly browned and onion is tender. Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Heat until mixture bubbles. Pour into 1 quart baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup corn bread mix, egg and milk in small bowl until smooth. Drop batter onto hot beef mixture and spread evenly. Bake 15 minutes or until cornbread is lightly browned.
