Mix 2C flour, 5T cocoa, soda, baking powder, 1-1/2C sugar, water salad dressing and 1t of Vanilla into bowl and mix well.
Grease 2 round cake pans and sprinkle with flour or cocoa. Pour half of batter into each cake pan and cook at 350F for about 30 minutes.
Let cake cool in cake pans until it has separated from the sides of the pan. Flip cakes over onto foil or wax paper and let it continue to cool.
Begin making your forsting by melting butter in a sauce pan. When melted, add remaining sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. when it begins to boil take a small amount in a spoon and drop into a cup of water. If it forms a soft ball in the water that you can pick up, the icing is done. Pour over cake quickly before it hardens.
