     Meatballs with Penne and Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 Cup Milk
3/4 Cup Onion Chopped
4 Tbsp Butter-divided
1 Lb Ground Meat (beef, turkey or pork)
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Fresh Basil Chopped-divided
1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped
1 1/4 Tsp Salt-divided
 
1/2 Tsp Pepper
8 Oz Mushrooms
1 1/2 Tsp Garlic-minced
1/4 Cup White Wine
8 Oz Whipping Cream
8 Oz Penne
1/4 Cup Parmesan

Instructions
Combine bread and milk and let stand for 5 minutes. Cook onion in butter for 10 minutes. Add the onion to the bread, along with the ground meat, egg, 1/2 Tbsp basil, parsley, 3/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Combine and make into balls.
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a saute pan, cook meatballs and remove. Add in mushrooms, garlic and wine. Bring to a boil for a minute, stir in cream, salt and pepper. Add meatballs back in and reduce to a simmer for 10 minute.
Cook pasta. When done, toss with butter and basil. Add sauce and meatballs.
