     Snicker Salad

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   Camping

Ingredients
1 large cool whip, or 2 small, thawed
10 snickers bars, halved lengthwise then chopped
1 cup fruit from each girl, their favorite, preferably fresh

Instructions
I get asked to make this every year in camp. It is a good recipe to get the girls to work together as a until the first day, sort of like making GORP. At home, refrigerate or freeze the snickers before you cut them so they don't fall apart. Put them into a ziplock and freeze to take into camp without melting. They will be thawed enough by lunch time.
Take 2 bowls, some girls may not like or be able to eat the nuts (another reason I cut them at home instead of in camp). I always bring a few apples or bananas in case someone forgets to bring fruit. Divide the fruit evenly between the 2 bowls, making sure to have some of each fruit in each bowl. Put half the cool whip in each, then add snickers to one or both. Stir to combine and serve in styrofoam cups with spoons. The girls loved it, and PAs from other units stopped by to sample!
You could substitute Milky Way bars if there is a nut allergy in your unit!
