     Peanut Butter Pound Cake

Ingredients
2 sticks margarine
2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
5 eggs
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
 
1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
Frosting-
1/2 stick margarine, melted
2 eggs or egg substitute
dash of salt
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 box powdered sugar

Instructions
Cream margarine & sugars. Add eggs & p.butter, beat. Sift flour, b.powder & salt together. Add vanilla to milk. Add flour & milk, beginning and ending with flour. Bake in greased tube pan at 350º for 1 hr 15 minutes or until tested done. Cool before icing.
Frosting- Cream all ingredients together until smooth and of good spreading consistency. ( If you prefer not to eat raw eggs then use egg substitute in the frosting) This cake freezes well.
