     Chocolate Chip Cookies

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None
Servings   3 doz

Ingredients
2 1/4 Cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C. butter (2 sticks) Kellers Butter
1/4 C. sugar
3/4 C. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (4 serving) vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
1 pkg. (12 oz) choc chunks

Instructions
Mix flour with baking soda and set aside.
Cream butter (for about 3 minutes until changes to light yellow color), add sugars, vanilla and pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Note- the butter needs to be cold. Do not overheat the mixture once the flour is added. If mixture is getting warm put dough in the freezer for a bit. Also if the cookies are flat, you can try 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder.
Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. (I use parchment paper) Bake 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes
