     Chili Con Carne, Mexico

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 1/2 lbs ground steak or left over meat
1/4 cup bacon drippings
2 Tbsp chili powder
2 cups canned tomatoes
salt
3 cup cooked kidney beans or 2 (15 oz) cans
 

Instructions
Fry onion in fat until light brown. Add meat and cook until done. Add tomatoes and beans and season with chili powder and salt. Let simmer, thickening with a little flour if needed. Add 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce if more seasoning is needed. Campers may not like too much seasoning.
