     Taco Salad

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 3/4 cups commercial taco sauce, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (1 1/4 ounce envelope taco seasoning mix
1 (15 1/4 ounce) mexican style whole kernel corn, drained
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
1/2 (9 ounce) package tortilla chips, coarsely crushed
1 medium head iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded longhorn cheese
 
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
3/4 cup sour cream

Instructions
Brown beef in a large skillet, stirring until it crumbles; drain, stir in 1 cup taco sauce, garlic, and next 3 ingredients. Remove from heat and cool slightly. layer half each of tortilla chips, meat mixture, lettuce, cheese and tomato in a large serving bowl; repeat layers. Serve immediately with remaining 3/4 cup taco sauce and sour cream.
