     Kidney Beans and Spaghetti

Ingredients
4 cups dried kidney beans
4 tsp salt
2 cups spaghetti, uncooked
4 cups stewed tomatoes (2 cans, 16 oz each)
1/3 cup fat
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp pepper
 

Instructions
Wash and soak the beans overnight. Add 2 tsp salt, and cook beans until tender (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours). Break the spaghetti into pieces about 1 inch long and cook in boiling salted water until soft (about 10-15 minutes), then drain. Make a tomato sauce as follows- melt the fat, add the flour, and cook until bubbling. Add the tomatoes and cook until thickened. Mix the spaghetti and beans together. Add seasoning and sauce and serve hot. Have something to nibble on while the food is cooking.
