     Creamy Pralines

Ingredients
1 box light brown sugar
1 small can evaporated milk
2 Tablespoons Karo syrup
2 Tablespoons water
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
 

Instructions
Combine brown sugar, milk, syrup, and water in saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil until soft ball is formed when tested in cold water. Remove from heat. Add butter; let cool. Add vanilla; beat until creamy. Stir in pecans; drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or greased marble.
