Heat the puffed rice in the oven until kernels will crush between the fingers. Warm the raisins in the oven. Also warm a mixing bowl and buttered pan. Boil the sugar, honey and water until a sample of the mixture forms a hard ball when tested in cold water. Add salt and butter. When the mixture comes to a boil again, remove from the fire and pour over raisins and puffed rice in the warm bowl. Mix thoroughly and pour into a buttered pan. Allow to harden, loosen at edges and turn out of the pan. Cut into strips.
