Cut up stick of butter in bottom of pan. Combine Bisquick, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and milk. Pour batter over butter in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Put peaches and sugar together in pan and bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Pour this mixture over batter and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
